Dr. W. A. “Bill” Hedge is the Senior Pastor of St. Francis Baptist Temple in St. Joseph, Missouri, where he has faithfully served since February 2002. A respected pastor, educator, and community leader, Dr. Hedge is known for his commitment to spiritual growth, pastoral care, and Christian education.

He holds a Doctor of Education from the University of Missouri–Columbia and a Master of Divinity in Pastoral Care and Counseling from Central Baptist Theological Seminary. A retired Assistant Professor of Northwest Missouri State University, he has dedicated years to educating and mentoring future teachers.

Dr. Hedge also serves as 2nd Vice President of the Missionary Baptist State Convention, bringing his experience in ministry, education, and leadership to the broader community.
